Lecture - Tell Me About Your Doll Quilt - Pieceful Gathering Quilt Shop, fox River Grove, IL

This is a lecture for anyone interested in antique doll quilts. These little wonders are made from a wide selection of fabrics from the last 200 plus years. Included in the trunk show are approx. 50 - 70 quilts, antique doll beds and stowaways. Also a selection of quilts from the Quilts Remembered pattern line will be on hand.

Baskets, Stars and Curved Piecing…oh my! This little quilt looks complicated but it’s not at all. The class will teach 2 simple techniques, Lemoyne Stars without ‘Y’ seams and faux curved piecing. If you can sew on a line or make a 4-Patch you can make this quilt!
