About Me

Annemarie Yohnk, designer for Quilts Remembered, has been quilting since 1980. Her passion for quilts has drawn her into the new endeavor of creating a historically based pattern line. She has combined her fascination with, and knowledge of, antique quilts with her teaching experience. Using reproduction fabrics to center the new pattern line, Quilts Remembered connects to the beloved patterns of the past.

Annemarie welcomes the opportunity to teach or lecture to your quilt guild. Her lectures are accompanied by a trunk show of numerous quilts, her wealth of knowledge and an enthusiasm to share her genuine love of quilts.

She has been published in several magazines including, Quiltmania, Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting and American Patchwork and Quilting.  Also, Annemarie has been designing quilts for Baum/Windham Fabrics.  These quilts have appeared at Quilt Markets across the country.

At home in Burnsville, Minnesota, Annemarie is surrounded by antique quilts that decorate her home and serve as her inspiration and connection to the past. She lives there with her husband of 28 years Dale, and their college son Wyatt. Of course, her house would not be complete without a loveable dog named Tula and Hazel a very chubby feline.
